We support individuals and their families dealing with serious illness with free, delivered, nutrient-rich meals along with a community of nurturing support. We involve young people as volunteer chefs who can experience the transforming power of serving and nurturing those in need while developing cooking and healthy eating skills. With the guidance of adult mentor chefs, you’ll have the opportunity to have fun cooking with other teens while helping people fighting severe illness. No experience is necessary to join our Teen Chef program. We request a minimum of a 12-week volunteer commitment. Teen Volunteering takes place each Wednesday from 3:30 to 6:30pm. We ask that our teens are at least in 8th grade and between the ages of 14 and 19.
