At Kuyper, this means we link students' on-the-job learning, on or at off-campus organizations, with their in-classroom education. And while traditional academic programs may require students to take short internships, at Kuyper, work is a study component of a student's entire educational experience. The program is focused on fostering four student competencies: Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Effort and Productivity, and Professionalism. Being a work college allows all Kuyper students to receive tax-free compensation as a form of financial aid towards their tuition. Depending on hours worked, tuition costs can be reduced anywhere from $4,050 to $8,100 per year.
