Whether your child takes classes at the HSB or elsewhere, you may be able to use your HSB TRIP earnings toward that program. You can also use your funds in either of our two bookstores! If your child is playing sports or taking classes with a participating organization, you can use your earned funds and request a check be sent to that organization to offset your child’s participation fees! If you are participating with an organization who is not currently affiliated with the HSB TRIP Program, no problem! Contact us and get your group approved and signed up. We are delighted to continue a positive partnership with so many fine organizations affiliated with our community.
“That all sounds good, but what is TRIP?”
TRIP stands for Tuition Reduction Incentive Program and is offered by HSB, Inc. to families in West Michigan. TRIP is committed to reducing educational costs for parents. The HSB is able to purchase a wide variety of gift cards at a discounted rate for the purpose of giving families a kick back on money they already spend! HSB TRIP Participants buy these cards at face value and retain 75% of the percentage discount to go toward educational expenses. HSB, Inc. retains 25% of your gross profit to help offset processing expenses. The amount deposited in each family’s account is updated monthly.
