“Raw, gritty, unsettling, and beautiful. This performance…made me hungry for the love of God.” -- Audience Member

Ballet 5:8's production of BareFace is inspired by the C.S. Lewis classic "Till We Have Faces." The dancers embody the complexities of human existence, peeling away societal expectations to confront their true selves. Through Rubio-Slager's innovative choreography, the journey of self-discovery unfolds on stage, inviting audiences to reflect on their own identities and the masks they wear.
